Only two weeks left! We have been casually looking to find our "family home" since Fall 2005. In December, we saw a few houses that peaked our interest, and ended up making an offer on one house which is in a great neighborhood, and has a wonderful backyard. The house is BIG too, so we can see staying there for a long time, as our children grow older. We are closing in 8 days, and will be moving in two weeks. We have been busy packing, and thinking about how we plan to decorate the new house.

The picture above is taken from our current home that we have been renting for 1.5 years. We found it when we were contemplating our move from Chicago to San Diego. Once we saw this house, we knew that destiny was calling us here! Our lease is up in August, but our landlord is interested in putting the house on the market now... and we are anxious to get into a real house so we can begin the homestudy process. So our days of gorgeous sunsets, sounds of waves crashing, are coming to an end... it is sad, but also inspiring that we are getting that much closer to building our family.
