Monday Monday

For the past two nights I have fallen asleep on the couch watching the Olympics. I have yet to see a "gold medal" performance, I usually fade out right before they are showing the final rounds. That said, the news today was all about the "Flying Tomato" because Shaun White is from Carlsbad...where I am writing you from now.

I am putting in 100% tonight and vow to make it through the pairs finals. I went to the gym tonight, spent 45 minutes or 500 calories or 4.25 miles on the cardio machine. That's how I get through it....I'm thinking... just make it to ten minutes, make it to 100 calories, make it to 2 miles, and then I start all over again until I've worked out enough to account for the big hot fudge sundae I will want to eat at 10pm while watching the Bachelor. Well, not really but some nights that's the truth. (I'm saving tonight's Bachelor for Wed night so please don't tell me who was voted off tonight... but if you did want to spoil it, that would mean admitting in a public forum that you actually watch the Bachelor!!! hmm. I have no shame.)

We officially closed on the house today. I still need to pack up the hanging clothes, the kitchen, and Michael is working on the garage. It's different here in CA, no one has a basement so they use their garage as the basement!!! It's funny to walk by someone's house and see all of their junk. Moving truck comes Sat AM.

Have a great week everyone!

ps. Elle's chocolates are here!!! I'm waiting until V-Day to open them. They smell fantastic!!!

Rhonda,
No I didn't make it that night. I did see the complete short program for the men's... Each night I am able to make it later and later.
