You will see that the kitchen looks very orange. We are getting used to it, but I think I want a different color so it contrasts better with the light wood cabinets. The countertops are a light green, gray, black and white granite. The family room, which is connected to the kitchen, is in the same color orange. I actually like it for this room (doesn't look as orange because there isn't the light wood in the room) and is a pretty neutral tone to what we would get for furniture. I'm not a fan of the neutral light brown carpet (this is what we have all over the house). I would love to get some trendy shag carpeting, but Michael thinks we should wait for the kids to "trash" it and then replace it when they are older. I love the plantation shutters, kitchen appliances, and ceiling fan. It's a nice kitchen for cooking!

Also on the ground floor is a formal dining room, living room and very small den. Upstairs we have the master bedroom, kids room (X 2), my home office and Michael's office. It's a big house for sure, and I can only imagine the cleaning I will have to do!!!
