Need for Longer Weekends
I am finding that my weekdays are going by so quickly - work is so busy that I put in my 8 or 9 hours without much internet surfing or daydreaming. Abode Acrobat is my #1 friend, followed by Excel and Powerpoint. Because I work with both our European and Asia-Pacific offices I have be available early in the morning (Europe is 8-9 hours ahead) and late in the afternoon so I can talk to our offices in AP early the morning for them. It's a fun job for sure, but very demanding and the days have been long over the past couple of months.

Last night I was invited over for "Girls Night Poker" at Tiffany's house. She has a beautiful home just five miles from here. And she decorated it herself - I'm so jealous. I wish I was able to put furniture, paint, floor and wall treatments together. We met with an interior designer on Wednesday night and are considering getting some help. There are a few furniture sales that are going on over the next couple of weeks, so I may try to get this project started so we have some furniture for friends/family who are planning to visit CA this summer. Oh and with poker... I came in third place and won $20 - lunch is on me!

This morning I had my second golf lesson at our local golf course. It was fun! My sister is a vendor for Callaway so she was able to procure golf clubs at a great price for our Christmas presents this year. Now we just have to learn how to golf! I am questioning my coordination skills, but am really enjoying the challenge.

Not much going on this weekend. Just relaxing and catching up on blogs. There are so many friends in Russia right now and I'm wishing them all of the best for their trips.

I would love to work with an interior designer. I can easily spot what I like in other homes, but it is hard for me to put everything together too. It is hard to imagine looking at samples, what it will look when it is done in your home. I can't wait to get into a home we own (next year) so I can do some real decorating.

I wish for longer weekends too. It seems like they are always filled with tons of things to get done. I wish for one more day in each weekend. Of course, I'm sure it would fill up too.
