DOTW Weekend Edition
Dog adoption news: Tinklebell was adopted this week. I hope she continues to loose her excess weight. She was such a sweetie. I have a new favorite who I've been seeing for a few weeks, including this morning. His name is Pablo. He's a 4-5 year old boxer/rhodesian ridgeback mix. For a tough looking guy, he's very polite, knows alot of tricks, and is wonderful on a walk. I would love to take him on a field trip to our home for the night, but I am very sure he'll find Yoshi a little bit too irresistable!
Tomorrow my sister is coming over for dinner... family style birthday for Michael... which is spaghetti and chocolate cake. I'm making an old family recipe for the cake - I've never done it before, so I'm hoping it turns out yummy and chocolately. Please don't tell anyone over at MommyWeight about this. Rhubarb pie sounds good as well but I can't have two desserts hanging around this house.
After dinner we are going to see Soul Asylum at this cool concert venue in Solana Beach called the Belly Up Tavern. We've be wanting to see a show there, and on Friday I noticed on the Ticketmaster site that Soul Asylum was playing on Sunday night. I love this band (they are from Minneapolis) and were popular when I was in college at U of Wisconsin. I can't think of a better combination. Have a nice weekend everyone!
