A big hit in our household last summer was R*ckstar:INXS. Michael and I watched the show religiously and even went to see the new band (and opening act Marty Casey who we loooovvved) earlier this year. This summer, the show Rockstar:Supern*va is all about a new band... finding the lead singer for a new group consisting of ex-members of Guns 'n R*ses, Met*llica and M*tley Crue. Growing up, I pretty much despised these bands. I was into punk rock, alternative music and dancing/trance & rave music.

We've been watching the new season and it's been entertaining. T*mmy Lee can be pretty funny, can't he? I also think Dave Navarr* is quite interesting after watching his 'Til Death Do We Part reality TV show with CE.

Why do I mention all of this? Yesterday Michael and I went up to Hollywood for the filming of tomorrow night's episode (Tuesday 8/1). I got tickets for us to be in the audience. You may see us head banging, hands clapping in the air, waving back and forth to the slow songs... It was fun to see the behind the scenes stuff, and just do something different. We were slightly to the left of the judges section (facing the stage), towards the back, but this means we were only 10 feet from the judges, and about 20 feet from the stage. You may see us when Dilana is singing by the judges and being carried to the stage. You may see us when T*mmy Lee finishes his performance and is walking back to the judges thrones and Michael gives him a "high five" (I got to touch his sweaty back).

Honorable mentions:
-Br**ke Burke's complexion is fantastic. Oh and she's super skinny and fabulous.
-Dave Navarr* seems pretty short, skinny, but has a rather large head (or is it the hair)?
-The judges comment much more to the rockers than they show on TV. And sometimes make multiple comments, some "Rated R" and are obviously edited for TV.
-After Zayra's performance, the judges just looked at each other and burst out laughing. They had to take a break to compose themselves before giving her the comments.
-A fan of T*mmy Lee? He opens the show drumming with Patrice.
-When did T*mmy Lee get so darn good looking?
