Shout out to Milwaukee Wisconsin!
Since it's football Sunday and I'm a Wisconsin native, I thought I would say a special "hi" to my Milwaukee Wisconsin reader! Do I know you? Please don't be shy... this is my first attempt to delurk my few yet dedicated readers.

We've been hosting my grandfather and cousin Eric this week. They were out here because Gpa had a navy reunion up in LA. We've been eating well, checking out the beaches like tourists and went on a tour of the Midw*y. Fun times! They headed back to Indiana this morning at 4AM.

Today I am completing my adoption paperwork calendar and will start sending out my forms to references, birth certificate requests, etc. I'm also going to a bead jewelry making party, hosted by a mom-to-be (girl from Kaz). We met on the Russian Adoption Yahoo board about a month ago and are using the same agency. Her and her husband are great. We are even thinking about going to the Mosc*w Cats Theatre together when they are in San Diego in November...

Sorry that I am not your Milwaukee reader, but I am commenting anyway.

Sounds like you had fun with your cousin and Grpa. I wish we could get some visitors. Maybe if we lived in CA near the beach that would change.

A jewelry making party is a great idea. I have never heard of that.

Sounds like things are moving along with the adoption paperwork. The jewlery party sounds like fun.

Am I the Milwaukee reader of which you speak? I am actually in New Berlin, although only for the next week. Then we're movin' on up to Brookfield. I'm not sure where I learned of your blog (maybe tublin.blogspot?), but somehow I found you. My husband and I adopted two girls (bio half-sisters), ages 2 & 4 at the time, from Perm, Russia 1 year and five months ago. Since then I have been intrigued by those going through the process. I don't mean to lurk, but I barely have time to breathe, let alone comment. I want to wish you luck on your journey and pray that you are as fortunate and blessed as we are! Please feel free to contact me if you'd like some been there, done that advice! I don't have a blog, but I'd be happy to share our experience and possibly some pictures of my girls with you.
