Travel Dates!
Well, not really. But I did find out that Morrissey is touring and will be in San Diego on June 3rd. I just got our tickets. I was a HUGE fan of the Smiths going up, and was able to see Morrissey once in the early 90s in Chicago. This almost guarantees we'll be gone in June, but if we aren't... I have something to look forward to.

Yesterday was a very productive dossier day. We brought in a bunch of documents to our agency to get notarized. Our coordinator is getting them apostilled early next week. Then we went to get our Good Conduct Letters done, but were met with a sign on the door at the Sheriff's office that said "Closed for Cesar Chavez Day" Huh? Ok, cool but that means we'll have to go downtown on Monday morning and it will take three days to process so we are looking at end of next week.

We are still waiting to get our doctor to sign our medical forms, and we met with the psychologist yesterday afternoon and got those forms taken care of. There are just a handful of documents that we need to complete (asset form, M's employment letter) and we should be getting our marriage certificates back this coming week. So I think we will be done before Easter and our dossier will be sent to Russia shortly there after.

Have a nice weekend.

ok brat ;) i was wondering how you got travel dates before your dossier was ready.... don't do that to a newbie like me... you had me questioning my entire timeline (or at least the one I have made up in my mind) .... haha.

I thought you were going to travel for work again or something. I'm happy to hear your dossier is almost complete. That's exciting that you may have it done by the end of the week. That deserves a Woohoo!

p.s. Loved the Smiths. I should have been into them in high school, but I had a thing for hair bands, unfortunately. But college ushered in much better taste in music.

I saw Morrissey too in the 90s. I figured it was the closest I would ever get to seeing The Smiths in concert. It was good! I am jealous!
