Sorry it's been a while since I posted. I have a backlog of pics and news to share. I'll get to the most important news first.
On Friday we heard that our dossier would be ready to be picked up from the Secretary of State's Office (it was there to get all of the apostilles) at 2PM. Our agency is doing the running round for us for $75. I am hoping it will get sent to Russia with a family in the next couple of weeks. Our dossier coordinator will let us know when that happens. Once in Russia it will get translated and then will stay in Moscow(?) until we are assigned a region (by accepting our referrals).
Of course, we are waiting for re-accrediation which should help speed up the wait. We are on the list, so potentially we could get the call anyday, but we will see. Right now, we feel very calm about the whole situation. It will come together - we just don't know when...
So your dossier just waits in Moscow until they find referrals for you and then you get registered in that region? I'm guessing that's how it works. That sounds odd but probably helps the wait go faster.
I hope it happens very quickly for you.
