Is It Thursday Already?
We've had a fun, productive week~~~
1. Monday - certified, apostilled marriage certificates arrived from Nevada; MD FINALLY signed and notarized medical forms. Went to happy hour with girls from work.
2. Tuesday - went to see The Killers in concert at UCSD. Concert not so great, but fun to go out on a school night!
3. Wednesday - left work early and went downtown to visit with M's cousin Ann who is in town with her daughter and other family members. Got email from dossier coordinator wanting us to get our stuff done so they can get us registered!
4. Thursday - turned in medical forms, psychologist forms, good conduct letters, visa photos. Got email from dossier coordinator that she will send in dossier by Monday. (M still needs asset certificate and employment letter... those should be done by then, fingers crossed.)

Which means... we are soooo close to the dossier finish line. And now almost officially ready to receive our referrals.

For Jen ... I'm leaving for LA on Saturday for a work conference until Tuesday night. M, Thani and Yoshi are going to hang out at home. I have a few friends from Madison who will be at the conference so I am very much looking forward to seeing everyone!

Nice progress with the dossier! Sorry the Killers weren't that great...I love them and I've been afraid to see them because I hear the show is lacking!

Too bad about the Killers concert. I love them, so that's very disappointing. Congrats on all of the paperwork! YOu're making lots of progress.

Hi Tricia,
just checking in now and saw your post about Ekat and blind referrals. You should email me and I can tell you about our experience. It wasn't necessarily bad, but I can answer any questions you have. I think it's wise to wait to see what happens with the reaccreditation... we are waiting too. The problem with blind referrals is that there is tremendous pressure to make a decision when you haven't had time to get your head and heart around your potential children. So reach me at sdmcentee at gmail.com.
Look forward to reading more soon! Sandy
