Another Trip to the Vet
Today was Yoshi's turn to make a trip to the vet. We've noticed for the past four or five days that she's hopping around whenever she's in the kitchen or bathroom (marble floors). Only when she's on the carpet, or walking slow will she press down on her left front foot.

We were worried that her paw might be damaged or infected even though she's acting fine and she'll let us touch her toes. We routinely check her front foot, because when she was declawed (previous mom) they didn't do a good job and two of her nails still grows a little bit.

Michael took her to the vet and she walked completely fine on the lino floors, and her paw looked OK (no infection). They guess that possibly the nails have grown a little bit more, and maybe the floor is extra cold to her now that it is summer. So $49 later we know that she's OK, no infection, no emergency surgery. Whew!

As you will find our soon, the same thing will occur with children- you will take them to the doctor thinking something is wrong and pay your co-pay to discover they are just fine. Better to be safe than sorry. My cat is overdue for the vet...I guess it is time to suck it up and shove him into his cage that the hates sooooo much.

Aww hang in there kitty :(

I miss my cat. Might have to post about him. I feel like a schmuck for leaving him in Michigan.
