Sunday Snooze

We've had an easy weekend hanging around the house and enjoying the nice summer weather. Yoshi has been finding some extra cozy places for her afternoon naps. And this is what Thani looks like morning, noon or night when I'm in the kitchen.
Yesterday evening we went to the Elena Dementieva semifinal match at the Acura Classic, a women's tennis event about 10 minutes away from our house at La Costa. Unfortunately she didn't win but today Maria Sharapova is playing in the finals. Come on Maria!
Fingers crossed we hear something this week on the adoption front but I'm trying to pace myself emotionally for another 6-8 week wait. It's getting harder and harder to tell our friends & family "no news yet". Somedays it's me who is taking the wait hard; other days I see the worry in our friend's faces when I have nothing to report. I am looking forward to the day we have our announcement to share with everyone!

I could have used a Sunday snooze yesterday. Yoshi looks very comfy and Thani looks just like Wrigley all stretched out. Hope you are well and just keep keeping up your spirits! (and make sure to enjoy eachother as much as possible while you don't have little girl distractions!) ;)

I'm sure it won't be much longer. I hope not.

Looks cozy in your home.... man if reincarnation really happens like the Buddist's believe, I'd like to come back as a house cat! hehe.

Waiting and not knowing is the hardest. Once the process starts, your heads will spin. Enjoy the moments of peace and quiet--not that children make a lot of noise or anything like that!!!

I love lazy days like that. Unfortunately, we don't have too many around here anymore - and I bet you won't have many more at all. Hope you hear some good news soon!
