There are lots and lots of Andreis in Russia. Both of our drivers (Moscow and the region) were named Andrei.

I'm excited for you too! I always felt like I would believe it when I saw it happen, because there are so many stories where issues pop up. But, having said that, our adoption went very well, except for us missing out flight to Russia and having to wait an extra day to leave:).

Glad the little bump in the road was just a jolt and not a serious issue. Lada is very on top of things. Per your question, we covered airfare, hotel, and a fee. Because we had two different orphanages to visit she ended up staying an extra night and we covered that as well. Best money we ever spent.

I am so glad this is finally happening! I've been thinking about you two since the trip all the while reading the updates on here. It sounds like things are all coming together! So exciting. I hope that everything will go smoothly and you both will have a safe trip. Little bumps in the road will come and go, but the final result will amount to something so much greater than we can ever imagine!
