Here's a map which shows where we are (green arrow) and where the fire is (northeast corner of "Bridges at Rancho Santa Fe"). That's about 4 miles from our house and what we think we saw burning last night. Fortunately the winds died down overnight and the fire stalled in the hills just to the east of the golf course community. The news this morning was showing huge flames just as it approached one of the houses, but the fire seems to be under control now.

There are many other fires in San Diego, including another fire just south of this which is threatening the coastal towns of Del Mar and Solana Beach right now. I am staying home from work again today and we are on stand-by to evacuate again should the winds change direction or we are threatened by another fire.
