First of all, I just have to give thanks to my great blog friends. You know who you are. I wouldn't be here without you. If I had the time and energy I would post about my all time favorite times we shared but I had both the pumpkin pie and cherry crumble on top of the stuffing, potatoes, turkey, ...

I am happy to report that we have finished packing for our trip. We have gotten everything into three suitcases. One contains all of the clothes and shoes we will donate to the orphanage (below). We bought things in size 5, 6 and 7 so that we can hopefully get a good idea on M's size.

I also have our games for our visits. We have a world puzzle (Pottery Barn), various coloring books, card games (also for me and Michael in the hotel... "go fish!"), PlayDoh, Build-A-Bear dude from our agency, and bubbles. Yes, our referral is 6.5 year old... but I have to bring the bubbles!

And here's our snack stash. For the train, long days and to try to get M to like us better.

The games, food and our clothes are divided between two suitcases. I don't know who thought of this but I think it's a genius idea! If one suitcase gets lost, we'll both have some things to keep us looking presentable.
Not much left to do today except go shopping... the local outlet store opens at 12 midnight. We are thinking about going but I am cozy on the sofa next to Thani right now. Tomorrow we head to LAX around noon. We are making sure we have lots of time just in case of traffic or airport crowds.
We should have internet connection in Moscow (at $50 per day) but once we go to the region I don't know what our options will be. I will post as much as possible. I can't wait to share our experiences with you all. Happy Thanksgiving!

So excited to hear about your trip. Looks like you have a great stash ready to travel. Great idea about splitting the suitcases. Don't forget to pack a change of clothes in your carry-on if you have room, incase they misplace all your luggage.

Have a super time and fly safe!

Have a wonderful trip! Can't wait to hear all about it.

(You should be able to get free internet in Moscow. There is wireless at McDonald's cafe, the coffee houses, etc. Our hotel had it free in the lobby only. Of course, that's not as convenient as right in your room, but still...)

We took bubbles as gifts for the kids in the boys' orphanage because we thought it was a younger child orphanage. However, when we arrived, the bwins were the youngest ones at 5 years old. The majority of the kids were junior high and high school age. We didn't know what to do, so we went ahead and took the bubbles outside during one of the playtimes. The "big kids" loved them. They had a blast, even the high school boys! She'll love them! Bubbles are ageless.

Hope you have an incredible trip! I can't wait to keep up with you! Happy travels!

My kids are 8 and 9 and we still go through gallons of bubbles each summer. I bet she will love them.
