I am so enjoying your journey. It's like re-living my daughter's journey to Russia in December of 2005. Can't wait to see photos of your daughter!

Another day is starting, and you must be feeling the exhaustion a little bit. I hope things are going well and that you are enjoying your time with your little girl. Hang in there if things and feelings are strange or weird.... remember, it's a leap of faith! Godspeed...

I'm dying for news here, Tricia!!! I hope things are going well. Sandy left good advice. I hope, hope, hope that things are going well and M wasn't too nervous (nor were your or Michael). I hope you've had that instant gush of love for your little girl. But even if you haven't, don't let it freak you out. I didn't have that for Slugger and it panicked me, but that love grew and grew and grew. I know now that it was completely typical - particularly when you're adopting an older child.

We're all thinking of you and hoping things are going well. Sandy and Maggie are right . . . it may not be what you first expected but give your heart a chance to catch up. I'm betting for poor internet connection or just plain emotional and physical exhaustion. I think we all had a bit of the above on various days of trip one. Just know you have friends pulling for you.

As maggie said, you are official, now that you have your St. Basil's photo. (we had one on last years christmas card!). I saw your suitcase contents and you did a great job. I am sure all those things have come in handy by now. Hopefully you will find an internet cafe in region, or maybe you are already back in Moscow. Please fill us in!
