Email from Lera (12/20):

Hello! I am OK. I couldn't answer because I was very busy...There was no time even to my email. We had class with M last Friday. We learn a poem about your family here this is: This is my Mummy, This is my Dad, I am M, We are very glad. It is very easy poem but M has several problems with it (it is difficult for her to pronaunce We are very glad), I think we will do it. We look through the photo albom you gave her each class and she remembers everyone on the photos! She is very smart girl but of course it is a problem for her to learn English but I try to make each class interesting and playful. I read your males for M and she is interestd of all things depende with you! You asked about mt holidays. The first part I am going to spend at home and after New Year party I am going to Saint Petesburg!!!!! To my friends and relatives I am looking forward this!!!! It is cool that the whole your family will gather together! I am sure you will have really good holiday! With love, Lera

Then, she sent an email from M (12/20):

Hello, Mama and Papa! M is writing. I miss you so much!!! I am looking forward your coming! Lera told me about USA and wants to live there with you very much! I am learning English with Lera and I realised that it is rather difficult/ But I desire to learn it and I am sure I will do it! I lok at your photos every day....Mummy, you are so beautiful and Dad you are so handsome. Can you tell me more about our future family? Lera reads me your letters and I like them! I hope you will answer me! At the next class Lera hoped me to bring her photograph and we will take photos and she will send them to you! I LOVE YOU!!!!!!!!!
Your daughter M.

It's got to be the best Christmas ever--"your daughter!!" I haven't been on the internet now for almost a week. Looks like you had a good Christmas. We all had a good time and expected havoc. When you're use to it and expecting it, havoc becomes comical. The funniest thing was to see 2 toddlers and a 3 year old go in and out of a bedroom by themselves--What are they doing now? The boys are definitely boys, and the little girl definitely is a little girl--kissing all her doll babies. They boys have a tendency to just arm throw things. I called you guys on Christmas day when everything died down and everyone was snug in their own homes. I think I forgot to say Merry Christmas in the message!!!!!!!!! Love, Aunt Tam
