Sleep is a good thing. Our coordinator and the other family we have been traveling with left yesterday at 5PM on the night train back to Moscow. I think we were both asleep by 5:30PM and we didn't get up until 9AM the next morning.
We were anxious to get up because our hotel hosts an amazing buffet breakfast (included in the room rate). So we had our fill of blinis, meats, cheeses, porridge, soft-boiled eggs, etc. I don't know if they are really making any money off of us...
Today we are planning our trip to St. Petersburg. We are going to arrange for a driver to take us instead of taking the overnight train. It will cost $300 each way but it will be much quicker and safer considering our Russian language skills.
We are planning to stay at the Renaissance St. Petersburg Baltic Hotel (hint, Kate). We will stay until Wednesday and come back to Pskov. We'll try to post again tomorrow. :)
Call!!
Will be out tomorrow morning but am at your disposal for the rest of your stay.
Pics please!!!!
We had a buffet breakfast in the hotel we stayed at a year ago too... I loved the brown bread rolls and the coffee. And blinis.... delicious!
