Hula Hoop Girl






Rita's english is progressing quickly now. Everyday she is amazing us with new words and phrases. Something clicked over the weekend and she is now saying "Yes" instead of "Da" for many questions that we ask her.

Other favorites:

"Oh my goodness"

"Buckle up"

"Ya hungry"

"I want to eat"

"I want to TV"

"Big one" (sounds like "pig one" - on the top video)

Tomorrow we meet with Rita's teacher and the principal as a follow-up to her behavior from 1.5 weeks ago. Definitely a proud parent moment in the making!

Go, Rita. It's fun to hear your voice. I think the hula hoop was invented when I was a kid--mid 50's???? Aunt Tam
