Bite-size Update
Since our vacation, Rita has been attending summer camp at the Y. I signed her up for three weeks of tennis, so she would have a routine and be familiar with her counselors. She likes it - they play tennis about two hours a day, and also spend time building sandcastles on the beach. We have also heard from one of her counselors that she gets very frustrated when things don't go her way, like when they are playing a game and she is called "out". So we are working on this ... This week is another week of tennis before we try something new.

Also, three days a week, Rita's 1st grade teacher (from last year) comes over and gives her one hour reading and math lessons. We were so excited that her teacher was willing and able to do this for us. We feel very fortunate that we had her for a teacher and Rita loves her. We'll continue this through July and then probably have a couple of weeks off in August before Rita starts school again.

And we are swimming almost every day. The weather has been perfect.

Phrase of the week:

"Papa's old. He's an old frog."
(Explaining M's birthday to my sister. LOL. I have no idea where she got this phrase.)
