Toni & Guy "Classic Undercut"

Toni & Guy "Graduated Bob"

Tony & Guy "Mid Length Layers"

On Saturday, I'll be getting my hair cut and colored. New salon - new stylist - new look.
Which one do you like? I have the length to go with "Mid Length Layers" but I'm tempted to go shorter (with some big chunky bangs) like "Classic Undercut". "Graduated Bob" is what I typically go with.

As for color, I am getting tired on highlights but can't go natural. My natural color is just too dishwater dingy blonde to do that. Should I continue with my blonde highlights, do a color wash, or go darker?

I think you'd look great with the length of the first cut. But those bangs are ridiculously heavy. With that much weight on top, it would drive me nuts!

ok.... blogger just ate my really long well planned comment.

so I love the first hair cut the most, I think the third is very close to what you already have... I needed to baby step my way to a shorter do.

I get you on your hair coloring issue, I too have that same mousy natural hair color. Have you tried low lights to add some dimension. A non perm all over color that washes out is a fun way to experiment with a warmer shade.

Good luck, can't wait to see

I'm getting mine done in two weeks too but I am way too much of a chicken to go too short. :) I really like the second one with blonde highlights even though you said you have done that before.

Ok, take it from the hair change master... Go with the short, but lighter on the bangs. Hair grows back. I'd go with a medium brown wash with highlights.

On the other hand, if you are too scared to go too short go with #2 (same color) and work your way to shorter.

But honestly, go short. You'll love it.

I think you hair looks really nice the way it is at the moment, so if you're looking to go for something similar I'd go with "Mid Length Layers".

If you're looking for a change, I'd go for "Graduated bob", because if you get sick of it, it'll grow out faster then "Classic undercut", and the color is very nice.

Classic cut but not that much bangs going over your eyes! I like your present hair color. I have not started to color the gray--not enough yet!! When I look washed out, I will color and never stop, I guess. Aunt Tam

Since you asked: Mid-length layers. Unless you want short, in which case go for it. As for color, yours has always looked great. I say opt for the lowest maintenance possible at this point in your life.

Go short!

And I am no help on color. I always say stay natural.

The first one is the best, assuming your hair would actually look like that. (Mine never turns out like the pics.) I like your color as it. The color in the first pic is nice too.

oh i know what you mean about the dingy dishwater blonde so i like getting the highlights, that helps a ton. i wouldn't be daring enough to go for a whole new color

good luck with whatever you go for!

Sorry so late! Just catching up on blogging, week has been insane.
I think I would go with the "classic undercut", maybe less bangs as everyone says. I think you will be happy with the drastic approach to feel like you really did something. In regards to color, maybe some low lights to mix it up?? I really don't know anything about color...but my guy did low lights and highlights and it looks amazing! Hope everyone is well!

I like all three styles. I too love the first haircut, but it might be harder to fix in other ways. I'm one who likes to have options for styling or pulling it back. As for color, I like blonder on shorter styles and warmer highlights on longer styles. I think any way you choose, it will look fabulous. Can't wait to see it.

Glad things are going well for you and your family!
