Rita's First Fourth of July
Rita decorating her bike

Thani preparing for the parade

Neighborhood parade - complete with firetruck

Rita's first Fourth of July - with tattoos!

Getting wet after the parade. The firemen stayed and sprayed the kids with hoses.

Rita's new passport ... We received this last month.
She is now ready to travel the world as an American citizen.

Happy 4th of July!

Great pictures, what a fun parade! Welcome to America Rita and your first celebration of our independence and your independence! What a neat image to think of your freedom!

I wish I could foster or adopt more ridgebacks! Boomer looks so sweet.

And I'd have to say I wish I could foster or adopt kids but really don't wanna till I'm married! So for now, dogs and other nanimals are my way of giving out that love!

You are so awesome! And Thani is adorable!

Happy 4th!

Glad you all had a great 4th of July together! How cool that your neighborhood had it's own parade complete with hose spraying firetruck! I love America.... can't wait to move back!!

ps - Rita's eye looks so much improved in that bottom picture. How's the recovery been going? Such a beautiful little girl.

yay for your first 4th of July celebration. It is great seeing it through our childrens eyes. Congrats on the passport. That will be our next step after we complete their US adoption in August.
