OK, I just did it.
I just signed up for
boot camp.
I will be getting up at 4:45AM weekday mornings for four weeks and getting to camp for my 5:30-6:30AM womens only outdoor fitness sessions.
My goals are to loose 5 lbs (and another 5 lbs by Christmas) and slim down my mid-section and thighs.
5:30AM. Ugh. This is the only time that works reasonably well with my schedule. I'll have to go from camp directly to work - shower and dress - before starting my day around 7:30AM. Michael will be covering the get-to-school routine for both girls.
I'm hoping that this will get me into a routine of getting up early. When camp ends I would like to continue an exercise routine with a morning walk (or run) with Thani (and do some light weighs and exercises) to maintain the weight loss and body shape.
I feel relieved to actually have made this a true commitment. Now I should really take a "before" pic for the blog. LOL.
I used to get up at 4:20 believe it or not, and that was before kids. It will suck, but you will get used to it. What's really cool is that once you get used to it, you feel so happy and relaxed. REALLY! You will have more energy and patience. Ha, ha, strangle me now.
(Just BTW, as a former "big" girl way back when, I'm down to a size 4--combo kids/exercise/craziness it can happen!)
I am impressed.
