New This Week
Rita is writing her name in cursive and the date on all of her homework.

I am physically and emotionally exhausted due to this stock market thing. Just looking at my 401K balance and other investments makes me want to puke.

And I want to eat french fries. And ice cream everynight.

Good thing I am exercising every morning to keep things even keel.

You can't look at the numbers or you'll quit investing. We saw our children's college funds yesterday and they had already lost thousands (and their not that large).

My 401 K is taking a depressing hit too right now. But we have youth on our side. Just consider that we are buying all these stocks at a discount. Right? It'll come back. It always does. Right?

I am not even going to look at my IRA. So sad, I figure I have some time to make it up, right? But, I am the same way, I go to food for comfort...not good.
Cursive sounds exciting! I can hardly get Lucas to even want to try writing letters!

Oh please Tricia - don't even go there. Just know that you are not alone. In the beginning I thought we were and that we were just really BAD investors. Now I know differently!

Rita sounds like she is really doing great! I so hope that you'll be at the picnic with her!!!
