She's A Writer
Lately, Rita has been writing us notes during her afterschool program. I think this writing thing with her started because they put together "family books" at school - and so they have been writing about their families alot over the last two weeks. It also explains all of the questions she has been asking. The family books turned out great - we just received ours tonight at the school Open House. I'll try to share the book in another post.

Her letters are short and really cute and so loving so I thought I would share a couple of them.

Those are sweet. Those nice little notes can help get you through rough times. (Trust me... I know. I KNOW!)

Bummer about Mama and Papa. I would be sad to let that go, too.

Sweet.

I was sad to see mama and papa go too.

That's very sweet. I guess you don't really have to be concerned with her attaching to you. ;)

Yep, we are Mommy and Daddy too. Our kids dropped the Mama and Papa when they started school here. Amazing how they pick that stuff up!

Don't you love the way she expresses herself? Very heartfelt. Here's to hoping the tough times are fewer and fewer.

We're still holding out for Mamma and Pappa.

Yeah, you're back! I check your blog at least once a week. I love Rita's letters. Mama and papa are neat, but Mom and Dad is what I know and would like that, too.
