New Year 2011
I don't know about you, but 2010 was really tough. Maybe over the next few weeks I'll recap what's been going on over here to make things so tough but let's just say that physically and mentally I was ready for 2010 to be over.

I am determined to make 2011 a great year.

I have a number of great things to look forward to (least to most important):

1. My job
My company is going through a massive reorganization. I will likely be responsible for new things and/or new people. I already know that I will have a new manager and she's very creative and fun. Hopefully I will learn more during the first two weeks of January.

2. My health
I spent alot of time in 2010 feeling bad about being out of shape and not exercising on a regular basis. I thought back at the times when I was eating well and exercising ... They were times when I was happy, busy and NOT WORRYING about diets and exercise. So I've decided to focus on BEING HAPPY. Already I have found that I am doing more and eating less.

2. My family
R is doing great in school. She is basically performing at grade level and is able to do most of her homework on her own. She is learning to love reading. She is also very athletic and just completed her soccer season. January starts softball season. R still needs help with socialization, making & keeping friends, and regulating her emotions. But she's doing great and very well adjusted.

So this year we are ready to start doing more things. R loves to travel and is now pretty good at dealing with changing routines. We have two great trips booked - in February we will go to Vail to visit with Michael's brother and go skiing. In April, I have booked a Disney Cruise to the Mexican Riviera. R doesn't know about the cruise just yet. Maybe a Russian Christmas or New Years surprise? I am really looking forward to both trips.

And the big news.

I'll save that for another day.

Just caught up with your blog again. Great to see you're active.

I'd love to catch up. It's wonderful to hear Rita is doing so well.
